About Me
I'm a Senior Infrastructure Engineer based in Muscat, Oman, with 12+ years of hands-on experience building and leading enterprise IT environments. My background spans fintech, IT services, hospitality, and government — giving me a broad perspective on how infrastructure decisions affect real business outcomes.
My Path
I started my career doing hands-on IT support and endpoint security work — deploying antivirus solutions, troubleshooting hardware, and keeping office systems running for dozens of business clients. It was ground-level work, and it taught me that reliability isn't accidental. It's engineered.
Over time, my scope grew from individual machines to entire infrastructures. I moved into roles where I was responsible for virtualization environments, backup and DR strategies, network design, and multi-site monitoring. At Nojan Rayaneh Pars, I was the primary infrastructure engineer for three enterprise clients simultaneously — managing everything from VMware and Veeam deployments to Active Directory and security hardening.
The most formative chapter came at OMPFinex, a high-volume cryptocurrency exchange in Iran. Over nearly four years, I co-led infrastructure operations across three data centers, managed 300+ VMs on roughly 30 hosts, and helped grow the IT team from 4 to 15 engineers. Working in fintech meant zero tolerance for downtime — 99.9% uptime wasn't a target, it was a requirement. That environment sharpened my instincts for building systems that hold under pressure.
I'm now based in Muscat, Oman, and looking for senior infrastructure or IT operations leadership roles across the GCC region — where I can bring the same standards I built in fintech to a new environment.
How I Work
Reliability First
Infrastructure that fails when it matters most is infrastructure that was never truly ready. I design with failure modes in mind from day one.
Business Alignment
Technical decisions don't exist in a vacuum. I connect infrastructure choices to uptime, cost, security, and the operational needs of the teams I support.
Team Enablement
My best work at OMPFinex wasn't a server or a network — it was helping build and develop a team of engineers who could handle anything independently.
Certifications
Beyond Infrastructure
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring automation and practical AI tooling — finding ways to apply them in real business contexts. I hold a Bachelor's in Business Administration, which I pursued while working full-time, and I'm always looking for ways to connect technical depth with strategic thinking.
